Joe was born in Beaufort West, and grew up in KZN. After he qualified as a teacher he taught at Empangeni for 13 years, where he also started his painting career.A Natural love for drawing led him to start sketching and painting.

Inspired by the African landscape and wild life, he used his preferred medium of acrylics, to capture that beauty on canvas.As a proud member of the Worldwide Nature Artist Group, Joe endorses it's vision and commitment towards the preservation of our natural treasures.
